Ricardo Gutiérrez

Role & Responsibilities:

Plans and co-ordinates training and competitions

Ricardo Gutiérrez started diving in 1978. He is a qualified British Diving Coach, British Gymnastics Trampoline Coach and British Swimming Coach. Ricardo started his coaching career in México where he also was the Assistant Coach for the Mexican Olympic Team in 1990. Ricardo is a former High Diver and Cliff Diver working in high diving shows around the world and also competed at the prestigious Red-Bull Cliff Diving World Championships. Ricardo has been part of Diving Development Programmes in México, Ireland and in the UK. Ricardo is currently Corby East Midlands International Pool Diving Development Coach and the Corby Steel Diving Club Head Coach since 2011. He has successfully developed Corby’s Learn To Dive programme, the Corby Steel Diving Club competitive programme and organized and directed the diving display for Her Majesty the Queen on her Jubilee Anniversary visit to Corby East Midlands International Pool. Ricardo was also awarded with Coach of the Year at the Corby Sports Awards 2016.

Ben Carman

Role & Responsibilities:

Supports all duties of the Head Coach

Ben started diving at the age of 7 and has won 8 national medals at age group and skills level. He was a part of the AASE scheme with members of the junior GB team and trained with them in Rijeka, Croatia. He has competed in Bergen Norway, Amsterdam & Eindhoven Netherlands & Lund in Sweden, trained in Indiana USA as a part of Indiana Diving Academy’s summer camp and won many east region gold medals in skills and age group. Having gained his level 1 diving coach qualification at aged 16 and level 2 at aged 17, he then went on to coach at Beaumont Diving Academy alongside Dive London Aquatics Club. Ben has a degree in Psychology and several years’ experience coaching a wide range of abilities at Plymouth Diving from beginners to international team members. Ben joined Corby Steel Diving Club as Assistant Coach in January 2021

Warren Hackley

Role & Responsibilities:

Supports all duties of the Head Coach

A founder diver for Corby Steel Diving Club, Warren has a background in gymnastics and competitive trampolining. He was talent identified at the age of 8 years and has competitively dived in National competitions since 2011. His many achievements include winning 4 Gold Medals, 2 Silver medals and 4 Bronze medals for the Club. Warren is now a qualified Diving Coach and Dryland Training Instructor for Corby Steel Diving Club.

Davaa Rosaire

Role & Responsibilities:

Supports all duties of the Head Coach

Davaa joined the sport of gymnastics in Mongolia when she was 8 years old. A former member of the Mongolian National squad, Davaa has competed at National and International level and been awarded Master of Sports. She represented Mongolia in the East Asian Games in Shanghai and, as a Circus Artist has toured the UK, Ireland, France and Malta. Davaa’s extensive achievements include Women’s WAG level 2, Men’s WAG level 2, Trampolining level 2 and Diving Coach qualification. Davaa has been coaching Gymnastics and Trampolining for over 12 years with over 8 of those years for Corby Steel Diving Club.
